Raewyn and “Zoe” how she found safety and fun with her horse after an accident

Raewyn and ZoeRaewyn and the delightful Zoe found self carriage on the buckle of the rein and learned a bunch of techniques for using fear to make yourself safe after a bad accident involving her horse and a motor bike.  Techniques that involved helping her to find comfort in movement when Zoe’s afraid of something, helping her to back away safely from what she’s frightened of until she can find comfort.

And Zoe is not only “eye candy”, she’s “mind candy” – what a delightful gentle and willing horse.  The whole shape of Zoe’s body changed over the week of the clinic, with damaged muscles plumping out and her back starting to round up.

The start of self carriage, on a long rein, which Zoe is showing here in the photo, is the first step towards a willing and dancing collection that most dressage riders would almost kill for!  It’s also the elevated back that gives your horse the strength to carry you for long distances easily and efficiently

Keep your eye on this pair, they’ll be going places!

The techniques that they used are in great detail in the electronic book “Bobby’s Diaries – Straight from the Horse’s Mouth to You”. You may never need to ride in fear again.  This book will give you the confidence with horses that you always wanted, so you can be the brilliant rider that you know you can be.  Click here to read more about the book.
