Conflict and how we deal with our horses

Have any of you ever thought about the way that we deal with conflict with people having some similarity to the way in which we deal with conflict with our horses?  That is, how we deal with our horse when he or she says “no” or “I don’t want to” or “I’m scared and I can’t” or “I’m confused”?

Finding natural power for race horses

Using the Zen Connection approach (unique communication) with our new thoroughbred horse Sunny, we unleashed  a huge sense of energy and power in her that just awed me.  It was seriously huge!  What do you think is possible when that power is harnessed with the joyfulness that we are committed to for her, on the race track?

An experiment – see if you can re-produce this exciting “group therapy” with your horses

In the last clinic we had a beautiful thing happen that brought a whopping hit between the eyes insight for me and for everyone else there too, I think.

It has made me think that it may be possible to work with a group of horses at the same time, on the same issue, by working with just one horse.  If this is as re-producable as I think this is, this could be an exciting discovery in horse behaviour.

So click here to see how you can join in with this experiment.

Floating and saddling problems solved sooo… gently

Email from Kathy who did the Kyneton clinic last week:

WoooooHoooooo and Do a Little Dance!!!  I heard you say (in your book and in person) that this process could result in the horse letting go of trauma so completely that they may forget things they previously “knew” when they’d learned it in a chronic not too sure zone or the Oh Shit I’m dead Zone……. but Wunjo and I personally experienced it when it came time to load up on the last day.
