Stormy May loves Zen Connection with Horses!

I love it when I get emails from people telling me how much they love my books or what a beautiful change has happened for them from reading one and putting it into action.

It’s especially nice to get an email from someone like Stormy May, who can help spread the word to sooo…. many other people.  Stormy May is the producer of a beautiful documentary called “Path of the Horse” – a “must see” journey with some amazing horsemen and horsewomen.  I cried to hear people like Klaus Hempfling, Linda Kohanov, Nevzarov, Carolyn Resnick and Mark Rashid expressing my thoughts about the consciousness of horses.

And Stormy May loved Zen Connection with Horses so much that she couldn’t put it down.

Here’s what Stormy has written for our website:

“Zen Connection with Horses gives a simple formula for how to begin or refine true communication with horses.  This skill is a prerequisite if a person wants to shift from dominance to partnership with his or her horse and Jenny makes learning it fun and straightforward, like scales to practice on the piano.  Do your horse a favour and put the information in this book straight to work!”

Cynthia Cooper’s new model bitless bridle

I am very pleased to recommend Cynthia’s new bitless bridle.  We were able to try out the new model on Melissa’s horse Buck a few months ago (sorry I forgot to post blog about it then, but am fixing that now!) and were most impressed – and that’s the first time that I had been impressed with a bitless bridle.

What impressed me about it?

  • it has light, clear and direct communication – no misunderstandings about what you want.
  • It’s comfortable to wear, comfortable to use and there is no pain.
  • it doesn’t jam on even when you use it hard and it releases instantly for an instant reward.
  • it has what I call “a very good oh shit button”.  There’s good leverage to bend a horse around to one rein if everything goes to hell. (I hope you never need it, it’s not pretty to be doing things like that!)
  • the horse’s like it and even on two reins Buck was carrying himself nicely not forced down into a position.
  • it looks like a bridle, so you don’t get the strange looks or those well meaning dills stopping you and reminding you that you forgot to put your bridle on! (That actually happened to me once.)
  • Cynthia gives you a 30 day trial, be happy or get your money back.
