Horse health – ten ways to reduce your vet bills

As well as being the author of Bobby’s Diaries, Straight from the Horse’s Mouth to You, we have here at our beautiful property at Tanjil South in the state of Victoria, in Australia, a horse hospital where we use alternative medicine and therapies to rehabilitate horses from illness and injury.

We work on everything from simple muscle problems, to damaged ligaments, to skeletal problems such as arthritis and bone damage, to rashes, to cancers, to “nutty” horses with emotional problems.

There are ten main reasons that I see horses here at the hospital, 10 ways that you can reduce your vet bills!

Sacro-iliac damage in the horse – a bunch of solutions

The sacro-iliac joint (where the spine meets the pelvis) is probably the most vulnerable joint in the horse and the most common muscular skeletal problem that I see in horses.

Free talks on book promotion tour

Bobby and I are hitting the road in June this year to do free talks and demonstrations through Victoria and New South Wales.

People will leave these talks with some new perpectives on their horses, plus the information necessary to listen to their horse in an extraordinary way.  Of course, they won’t get all the information in the book – hopefully they’ll buy the book for that!

The areas that are in the process of being organised are:

Jindabyne, Bungendore, Gungahlin Equestrian Centre, Pegasus at Holt, Yass, Albury and Shepparton

In Albury, Yass, Jindabyne and Pegasus the talks will be used as a fundraiser for the pony clubs, riding for disabled and equestrian club.

If you think that your club or organisation would be interested in hosting such a talk, then hit the contact button at the top of the page and follow the prompts.

Horse catching problems – not only can she catch him now, he wants to be with her

Yoshi is a handsome little pony lucky to have an owner as dedicated as 13 year old Mary is to his physical and emotional welfare.  They came in to the clinic with a bond already developing.  Even though in extreme fear, this plucky little horse had been careful not to hurt Mary.  In 4 short days of a Spirit of Horse clinic, the increase in that bond was absolutely awesome.

Yoshi & Mary at libertyMary won the Horseland Warragul competition for a Spirit of Horse clinic – that’s the clinic based on Bobby’s Diaries.  In her entry she said she wanted to give her ponies a better life by understanding them better and she certainly did achieve that objective – in spades!

Mary and Yoshi enjoyed riding at pony club together, but she mostly couldn’t catch him, he reared up when being saddled, was difficult and occasionally impossible to bridle, jumped around while she was trying to get on, wouldn’t stand still, he didn’t enjoy any touch on his body and severely disliked  anyone touching his legs or feet (forget shoeing!).  A simple bot fly caused him to bowl straight over the top of the nearest human.  Altogether the ideal pony club mount (yes, that was a joke!)

Money back guarantee on this amazing new horse book

I realise that it can be a bit of a step to buy an electronic book over the net, without browsing through the pages at the bookstore.

So, I am so sure that you’re going to love this book, that I’m offering a money back guarantee that you won’t be diappointed in it.   It will intrigue you, it may challenge you, but I promise it will not disappoint you!  Bobby’s Diaries – Straight from the Horse’s Mouth to You.

Enjoy!      Jenny Pearce

Better than horse whispering – The winner of our free Spirit of Horse clinic

We are proud to announce that the winner of our Horseland competition for a free Spirit of Horse clinic is 13 year old Mary Upston of Ferndale near Warragul.  This is the clinic based on the electronic book “Bobby’s Diaries – Straight from the Horse’s Mouth to You”.  This is the amazing book that gives you the secrets of the great horsemen and women (even if they don’t know it!).  Click here to read more about the book.

Mary’s entry was comprehensive and moving.  Here’s an excerpt:

“Like everyone, I want to enjoy my ponies, but I also want to give them as good a life as possible.  If we understand each other better, it will help to achieve this”.

Well, I think that describes Bobby’s Diaries in a nutshell – enjoyment and a better life for both horse and rider.

We’ll post photos and a bit of a story after the school holiday clinic 12th to the 15th April.
