Coming soon – an internet based program developed BY nervous riders and nervous horses FOR nervous riders and nervous horses
Those of you who know me personally, know that I am VERY good at helping nervous people and nervous horses who are acting out in all kinds of ways. I am very good at helping people make the big ahaa… breakthroughs that gets rid of the nerves and deepens the bond.
I help people get in the habit of acting on their feelings to feel confident and capable.
I love being witness to the smiles and laughter and even happy tears as the tension and nerves drop away and people find a deep sense of peacefulness and happiness with their horse.
And it’s not just about finding that wonderful place. It’s about knowing how to find it again and again, easily and routinely. THAT’S the big deal.
That’s where I am hearing that some of you are looking for support.
I am also hearing how hard it is to find the time to get to clinics, take time off work, organise the family and the other four legged friends for us to be away. And with my books in more than 10 countries now and Australia so big, some of you are too far away to come to clinics anyway.
So here’s the big excitement that I’ve come up with.
I am designing an on line lesson program helping people feel confident and capable under all kinds of circumstances and deepen their bond with their horse while they solve problems AND get a deep sense of peace and happiness with their horse at the same time. (This is separate from the gift video series that I already talked about that we are about to send shooting around the world.)
I want to make sure that this program is going to be what people need it to be.
So I am asking for your help to design it right.
It’s funny, I looked back recently and could see that I have been getting ready for this for a long time now. I have been developing the technology skills needed to support you in ways that have you feeling that I am right here with you even if you are on the other side of the world. In fact, with the technology we will be using, I WILL be right there with you – even on the other side of the world.
This lesson program will be a mix of short video lessons for busy people, audios and media on the computer in front of you. There will be one on one Skype coaching and getting together as a group over the phone for question and answer sessions and webinars. You will be able to video a “problem”, send it in and I will give you personal feedback.
We’re going to have a community built up around this program, that you can use to make new friends who are on the same wave length and so that you can support each other and feed each other’s joyfulness with your horse. I have seen how important like minded friends can be when your confidence and joy is new and fragile.
I am planning that this “explaining email” is the longest email that you are going to get. I get that we are all busy and the lesson program itself is specially designed for busy people, so the questions that I want to ask, to help me design this program right, won’t take up too much time and I have tried to make it worth your while as well.
In return for answering these questions, I am offering a one on one, personal 15 minute coaching call to help you with any horse problem that you would like to talk about.
In keeping with “keep it short and sweet for busy people”, here’s the three questions for today.
1. I want the program to cover all the issues that people have with their horses that make them nervous. Most of us have at least some issues with our horse where we feel nervous, that reduce as we deliberately use those feelings to make ourselves and our horses safe. What are your nervous issues with your horse? Think through your daily routine with your horse first and then maybe onto other things like the things that happen when you are riding out somewhere. And if you are not nervous any more, what were the things that you were most afraid of doing? Especially in the early days, what were the things that you were most afraid of doing with your horse?
2. I want the program to cover techniques and ways of doing things that make you feel like you can handle any situation that comes up, confidently and easily. Like the nervousness thing, most of us have areas with our horse where we feel less than completely capable. Are there any issues like that for you with your horse? And if there aren’t any capability issues that bother you any more, can you remember what they were?
3. And I want the program to cover as many “problem horse” issues as possible. (no such thing really, that’s why I have it in rabbit ears like that!) When you look around other people that you know in the horse world, what do you see as the biggest problem that they have with their horse?
I appreciate your time, so make your answers as short as you need to. When you reply, let me know that you would like to take advantage of that personal coaching call, it’ll be fun! Let me know what country and time zone you live in and then I can tell you what days are available that are compatible with your time zone.
Can you feel my excitement about this? I’m not sure how much more excitement I can take! (Just kidding! – Bring it on!)
Ohh, and please, please, please, if I use ANY words or abbreviations that you think everyone won’t understand, PLEASE bring them to my attention! I have just discovered how discouraging it is to feel like a dumb bunny when you are learning something new. I’m being a student at the moment and the course is full of abbreviations and words used in ways that I don’t understand. I would like to avoid causing that dumb bunny feeling in someone else!!!
Keep on “doin’ a little dance” of joy with your horse. love to all, jenny
p.s. Another “ohh!” If you haven’t heard yet where that “doin’ a little dance” comes from – and you want to know – then click here for the link for that story.
