I knew that dieting was absolutely NOT the answer because from my healing work I knew that every time we feel deprived (even when we are not hungry) our brain signals our body to lay in fat cells.  Then our body proceeds to signal us to fill up those fat cells and then we are really combating craving even bigger the next time.  That’s the weight loss / weight gain round about.

I was disturbed by news reports yesterday where an American doctor was saying that only the intensive care cases were receiving tests and then treatment for swine flu.  He said that other suspect cases were isolated at home, often with no treatment for the patient or the family in quarantine with them.

Given the media coverage, that must be quite frightening – but there is no need to live in fear from swine flu or indeed any other kind of flu.

Whether it’s swine flu you’ve been in contact with or whether it turns out to be one of the more normal flu’s that get around every year, then boost your immune system with this simple SHORT TERM remedy (which is also fabulous for getting rid of cholesterol).  No one single method of boosting the immune system should be used forever.  The more anti-oxidants you use, the more varied the boosting of your immune system, the better off you are. 

Don’t worry – the lemon stops you smelling of garlic! Take 30 cloves of garlic and 6 lemons and 1 litre of water.  Rough chop all the ingredients.  Bring just to the boil and  turn off, leave until cool. Strain it through a sieve into a jug and then into bottles – it’s the juice you want. Drink a shot glass of the juice once or twice daily.  

Again I emphasise, do not rely on only one boost to your immune system - the more variety the better!  Vitamin C tablets are another boost to your immune system.  So is Echinacea for those who are not allergic to it.  Good healthy fruit and vegetables sounds simple but are an excellent boost to your immune system.  If you can’t buy organic, wash them well – some of the chemicals used these days are enough to make you ill all by themselves!
