There is no need to live in fear of swine flu.

I was disturbed by news reports yesterday where an American doctor was saying that only the intensive care cases were receiving tests and then treatment for swine flu.  He said that other suspect cases were isolated at home, often with no treatment for the patient or the family in quarantine with them.

Given the media coverage, that must be quite frightening – but there is no need to live in fear from swine flu or indeed any other kind of flu.
