Bridle-less piaffe – the baby steps that have to happen before piaffe can happen
Here’s an article that I wrote about my work with Bobby towards bridle-less piaffe about six months ago. You can use this to work towards piaffe yourself, to think about the tiny baby steps that you need to break it down into to get there yourself.

I never really thought I’d get excited about riding dressage (although I love watching others who do it well)……but reading this suddenly gives me great plans to not only do some fancy footwork but give it a go bridleless!!! Personally, I would like to never use a bit again, so this is perfect. I’m getting so excited……my initial aim was to simply be able to ride down to the river for a swim with Wunjo….now it’s growing into so much more.
