Tasmanian Spirit of Horse clinic
Here’s a lovely article about the Tasmanian Spirit of Horse camp, drawn from Cynthia Cooper’s wide ranging and interesting newsletter on all sorts of horse issues, with photos and comment from me too. (There’s a link below for you to get to Cynthia’s website and subscribe to that newsletter)

So inspiring and exciting to read. I’ve been working with a previously neglected/abused older horse I brought home 2.5 years ago. He’s taught me that “traditional” techniques won’t work with him and to look elsewhere. I’ve been doing lots of NH with him and although he’s much more confident, we still have a ways to go. I’ve also lost my confidence about 10 years ago in a bad fall…..so there’s been lots of time in the “oh shit” zone between us! I’m so relieved to have found Jenny and Bobby’s book and I’m even more excited to say that we’ll be attending a clinic with Jenny next month. Reading this post gives me so much hope for developing a true partnership with Wunjo. What a blessing it will be to be able to offer him his comfort zone all the time.
